Life's length is short in my chest
I feel it lessen with each breath.
Tomorrow's excitement never leaves me,
Yet today's kiss is always pleasing!
I meet the wind with a smile,
The sunshine my domicile.
Heaven's eye was but a glimps,
Angels flutter - felt not since.
When my head lays in the clouds,
I'll choose a song to sing aloud.
I will not sound of human things,
Like a sparrow I shall sing.
